2003 F350 overhead display

my overhead display “works” but it will get dim then slowly get brighter then dim then brighter...

I had the same problem, but after reading here and watching utube, soldered the diodes back in place myself. Takes some patience.... but doable.

two 680 were off and i resoldered them on but now it does the dim thing....

I had 2 off but a thrird one had a broken solder joint, it looked attached until I gently pry’ed it up, Resoldered it and now it works perfect.

Fwiw, solder wick works great for unsoldering and cleaning up boards when doing repairs.

so it works and just goes in and out and i solder it. poorly cause it's in a tight spot. whats more accuarate the miles to empty or the fuel gauge.

My 680's were mia, so i just soldered little jumper wires. Worked perfect and mpg is within .01-.4mpg off then hand calculated

two 680s that were loose or mia can i connect them together since space is limited or does it have to be individual...

so i fixed the little things and it works and its nice and bright the only issue i am having is that the temperature is reading -40...
