"Art" will need some repair .

Almost made it to the car show tues. evening . Mass brake check session on the draw bridge . Not much stopping contact patch on draw bridge grating . Am so disappointed in myself . Am so careful when driving the trucks . Was not going very fast maybe 15 mph. . They all stopped & I ran out of time . Luckily have collector car insurance . They have been notified . So may need some help from the FTE. community on some parts . Radiator is toast , hood nose has damage as does the RF fender , lower gravel pan , upper valance panel .& fan . Think the core support got shoved back .

Bad break for you and your beautiful truck. It's good, however, that you have insurance coverage and no one was injured. You've been working on restorations so long--a part of you is maybe a little glade to be getting back into it again. This time the insurance company will be paying for parts and supplies! That's got to feel good.

A shame, but could be much worse. Always a risk if you drive them.

Oh man, so sorry to hear about the fender bender (but I'm very glad that no one was hurt)

I hope the insurance company does you right. A friend of mine ad a 3 car pile-up several years ago... ...in his own garage....LOL. 1 car got away from him, hit another and pushed it back into the 3rd. He said it was pretty embarrassing explaining it to the claims person but they didn't bat an eye and took care of him.

It can all be fixed, well, it might take some time for the pride to heal.

Good luck
Bobby

That really sucks!! Glad nobody got hurt. I'm glad you had good insurance. You'll have it back to its previous beautiful self in no time. Look on the bright side, you have a winter project now (but then again in South Florida, I guess you don't really need a "winter" project).

Any update on Art's damage, Denny?

Did you say this happened on a wet iron gate bridge?

Dry iron gate bridge .. Insurance adjuster should be here in the next few days .Hard to go out & do anything to it until adjuster sees it . Have a feeling it is not going to go well . Almost everything on it is custom made . Spent decades building it Am so upset with self Mental state is not well now .
