E4OD ?

Ok, So I was told that the E4OD that would bolt to my 460 is very specific but is there any other E4OD's that will bolt to my 460 like the Diesel version of the Transmission? I only ask because I need a 2 wheel drive version for the Over Drive Upgrade I am doing to my 1975 Highboy Frame. Thanks in advance for any help I can get with this.

The diesel version has it's own bellhousing pattern of Navistar. It's not a match to the big block ford. You can use a 4wd big block version by installing a transfer case. You'll need a shortened driveshaft of course but you'll gain a set of low range gears to use.Even for a 2wd truck this is still handy for backing up trailers, driving slow on back roads, bird hunting and such.
