Putting 13'+ rotors on a 12' with stock caliper

Hello, i am about to do new brakes including rotors and I was wondering if i can put the bigger rotors on with the stock 2012 calipers. I am running 20 inch wheels. I am thinking there should be enough clearance. Any input?

thanks!

If the rotors had room to turn, I'd be a little surprised if the pads contacted the rotor in the "sweet" spot. They might even be partially off the surface of the rotor.

NOPE.

It's not only the rotors themselves that are larger. But the brake pads and calipers, along with the steering spindle is different.

What are you driving, one of those NASA vehicles that transports rockets? I’ve seen 17” rotors but THIRTEEN FEET rotors?

Incredible

It is possible but not easy or cheap, in the front you need to change both knuckles, callipers, calliper bracket, pads and rotors. In the rear you need to change the mounting bracket that the parking brake sits on and the calliper bracket bolts to and the calliper, calliper bracket, pads and rotor.....

I looked into this as it would be ~5/8” bigger diameter rotor on all four wheels but isn’t worth doing the swap.

Thanks all! That is all I needed to know. I'll stick with stock.
