RetraxPro and B&W Companion

I have a 2019 F350 and looking to put Retraxpro MX with the B&W companion fifth wheel. The fifth wheel says it set at top height of 18.75 inches and the people at Retrax say the hitch has to sit at least two inches below the bed rail top. I have measured them and it seems good. Just wanted to see if there was any real world experience with this combo.

Well, maybe I can help, maybe not. Since I do not have a ‘17+, nor a Retrax cover.

But; I do have a ‘16 with a PaceEdwards Bedlocker (Electric retractable) tonneau cover, and a B&W Companion hitch. I have my hitch set in the highest possible position and have no issues opening and closing my cover with the hitch installed. And it is my understanding that the ‘17+ bed rails are higher than the ‘16-. So I see no issues what so ever for you.
I guess an easy way for you to check would be to measure the depth of your bed.
Good luck.

2017 450--Retrax Pro/B&W puck hitch----clears easily at middle height. Eyeballing it, would also barely clear at highest setting. Morryde pin box has touched the Retrax rails in sharp/off-level turns. Would raise the hitch but already slightly nose-high.

Thanks. That's the setup I will have. The fifth wheel I ordered has the Morryde pin box.

How far do the rails stick into the bed?

I have a Truck Covers USA roller and the rails are an issue on hard turns with the pin box.

Just spoke with Retrax. They said they come into bed an inch.

I have a '18 and use the B&W companion, and have the Ford version of the Revolver, it fits just fine.
one of the reasons i went with the revolver was because the Rol-Bak I had on the the last one would rub on the pin box sometimes in tight turns, because the rails on the inside, make it a bit tighter

You will have to watch the sides, the rails sit on top of bed rails and make the total opening of your bed a couple of inches narrower, when you make a real tight turn the back of your pin box can rub the slide rail of your cover.
You just need to watch it real close, my last one i rubbed the paint off of both sides
