Continental Tire Terrain Contact A/T

Just curious, I spotted some Continental Terrain Contact A/T's on another Super Duty and they seemed like a good looking tire from the little bit I was able to see them. Has anyone here had any experience with this tire yet?

No experience, but they seem to be well received by Tire Rack staff and customers:

These tires get great reviews. I have always had great luck with Continentals myself. Probably have owned 6 sets over the past few years. I believe Continental learned a lot from General tire and walla...we have these new tires.

Only wish they they were OWL since I personally prefer that feature.

I will second the good reviews on Contis. Had several sets. All were excellent. I have a set of Conti Snows for my wife's car.

Those look real close to the Dueler Revo AT/2's which are no longer available. They too were a nice tire.

I had a set on my Tacoma that served me well over three New England winters in the mountains. Low road noise and slight improvement on mileage according to the dash lie'o'meter.I'm sure I'll put them on my F-250 when the factory tires are worn.

I put a couple sets of Continentials over the 12 years I owned my 2002 Escape. Good reliable tires and would get them again

Update, I did go with the Terrain Contacts and have to say I'm really impressed with them. The first difference I noticed from the Michelin At2's that were on there prior is that the truck felt much more solid underneath me. They tow and handle very well, and with just over 7k miles on them they seem to be wearing very well. Just had the truck serviced last week and had the tires rotated for the first time. Wet traction is better than the Michelins and I'm just waiting on some heavy snow and slush to see how well they do. We just had some light snow and ice and they performed well. There is slight road noise depending on the surface, but not any more than any other tire I've had. Would definitely recommend them.

Thanks for the follow up. I'll give those tires a good look when my Kevlar Goodyears wear out.

Best AV tire I have had hands down. Got them approx a month ago on a price match at discount tires. Walmart had them for $208 and discount was selling them for $250, so saved a pretty penny.. Will be heading toe Kansas City after xmas so may have some snow and ice testing. Great looking, feel great and hope they last longer than my michelins, only got 20k out of them with regular rotation and proper inflation.

If I'm not mistaken, Continental is it's own brand and they acquired General Tire Co, along with some other brands throughout the years.

Glad you have had luck with your continentals. They came factory on the wife's Murano. While they had good traction they love to suck up nails. At least 8 holes in each back tire over the three years of ownership. I realize not the same tread but it left a bad taste. They also chipped like crazy and dealer said it is because we Off Road. In off road he meant we live on gravel and it is two miles to the highway. We have 3 vehicles between the wife and I and these continentals are the only tires that have the issue. We sure got our money out of the tire repair warranty that the dealership forced us to buy. Anyways monday we are putting on BFG all weather tires and time will tell if it is the road or the tires............
