The time has come...

I haven't used it in a year or two, and it's just sitting turning to dust...

So it's time to sell my truck. I have an interested party, and they are willing to cough up what I think it's worth at this point, so if they decide to go for it, I think it's over.

I will always love my V10, I will of course always be here for the community, and in a year or less, I'd like to get another one. But for now, my '01 needs to go to someone who will take care of it, and actually USE it.

Anyone know of a 4x4 manual tranny/transfer-case regular cab for sale?

I too get that small feeling of "guilt" hanging onto to something that could be put to better use, more so than just sitting around under used by me. There's always that nagging little voice saying what if I need this thing and it's gone?

You've been such a big part of this forum since I first joined FTE so your knowledge and experiences will continue to be helpful even if you don't currently own a V10. I hope you'll hang around until something new follows you home.

Good luck with the current sale and acquiring something new-to-you!

Oh, I'm not going ANYWHERE

I'm still posting in the FE forum about an engine I haven't touched in almost 20 years.

FE stands for "Ford-Edsel", it is a series of "big block" engines used in Fords and Edsels in model years 1958 through 1976. In actual size it slots between typical SBF (289 & 302) and the more recent 385 series "big block" Ford V8 which includes the 460 that was used in Ford trucks through the late 90s.
Arguably the greatest engine of the muscle car era was an FE, the SOHC 427 "Cammer" is legendary.

Here it was working in Upstate NY quite a while ago... on my brother-in-law's land dragging a few dead trees out of the woods and doing other general clean up.

Oh no!

Try and find a low mileage 3v and keep on trucking.

My 1999 was tourmanline green...or something like that. Is that what your's is?

I forget what the actual name of the color is, but it was whatever the "green" was for that year
