Spare Tire Carrier Part Help

Hi FTE,
I've been away from my 1965 F100 Flareside project for a while due to work but I ready to reengage again!

I need help with a two things -
  • first- I'm looking for the spare tire wheel carrier floor to sill reinforcement plate - part # C1TB-1413-A,
  • second - I'm looking for a "bolt up" pattern for the mounting of the spare tire carrier rack. I'm not comfortable just "eyeing" the correct placement and drilling the holes only to find I've drilled the wrong locations.

I'd happily exchange a few "dead presidents" If you have a pattern or would be willing to make me a pattern for the short wheel base (114"-115") truck.
Thanks in advance! John

C1TB-1413-A is 13 1/8" long = 1961/79 F100 Flareside with 6 1/2' bed / Obsolete ~ No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Since you are drilling out new, here is the bolt pattern for the top 4 holes.
Once you do these, then the bottom holes will fall into place, assuming the carrier is not bent
these measurements are from the back of the stake pocket towards back of bed and the top crease of the bedside panel (right where it starts to angle)
Mark 2 parallel lines from top crease 1" and 1 3/4"
top line the holes are at 6" and 18"
bottom line the holes are 3 1/2 and 15 1/2

1. 1 3/4" down x 3 1/2 out
2. 1 " down x 6" out
3. 1 3/4 down x 15 1/2 out
4. 1 " down x 18" out

BTW, I am looking for the bottom angle piece as well, so I will have to make it out of angle stock if I dont find one

Thanks Bert!
I have the top reinforcement plate part #1407, should I align the first bolt hole with the 6" top line mark? If so, the remaining top bolt holes are then set by those in the reinforcement plate.

I assume I'm too will have to fabricate the bottom reinforcement plate once I establish the correct bottom hole locations.

yes the top hole would be the 6"
The diagram of 1407 shows each set of holes in the 10 oclock to 5 oclock position, but mine are in the 2 oclock to 7 oclock position
