Snugger rear bumper brackets

Does anyone have comparative photos of regular rear bumper brackets versus the snugger rear bumper brackets to compare the bumper position?

Here are before and after shots using the Mid Fifty snugger brackets. Well, I'm struggling with attachments so I'll get it figured out and then upload photos.

If you have the originals, there should be two sets of holes in the frame. The up and forward holes will snug the bumper quite a bit.

Easiest way to tuck the rear bumper is to fabricate mounting bars with 3/8 x 2 inch bar stock. Inexpensive and you can set the bumper exactly where YOU want it.

Any more pics of how the bumper sits? Did you mount your license plate below driver side tail light?

Ok, here are the before and after pics. I mounted my plate behind the drivers tail light. It's partially obscured but I'm not too worried about it.

Here in NY they get uptight about blocking the license plate. On my 56 with the stock rear brackets they seem to leave me alone. If I switched to the snuglers they might get pissy. I think they would block there scanners more. They always point them at the rodders around here.

This is a little more work but anything worth having is usually worth the added effort...
