XL steering wheel swap?

Has anyone figured out whether one can swap out a steering wheel with stereo controls onto an XL and get the controls to actually work? Seems like someone on here did it but couldn't get the controls to control the radio.

Will HC3Z-3600-EB fit a 2019 F250 XLT. I'm sure it will, just want to verify.

I know this is a bit old, but yes. I just put this steering wheel in my 2019 F350 XLT. Literally a 10 minute job.

So I was talking to the guys at 4DTech and they said the truck had to have an upper trim harness/steering column to accommodate the wheel and controls, yet I have seen one XL guy and one STX (just an XL spitshined) guy do this mod with claims it works.
Maxum96 you had a non sync XLT? Did you upgrade your head unit as well?

Yes, I ordered the same part # Fit. I have found a lot of sites don't show numbers for 2019 SuperDutys

This is my concern; do I have the correct harness in the column to accommodate the upgrade to a wheel with audio controls?
I have the most basic of XL trucks; base stereo with the tiny screen. Frankly, I don't care about the screen size anyway. Just want to be able to control the audio via the wheel.

1) does anyone know if the harness in the column will accept the wheel upgrade on ALL XLs?
2) anyone got pictures of the specific harness needed behind the wheel?

I have not yet bought the Forscan, but I'm putting together a list of things I want to change out; keypad on door, steering wheel swap, blinker count change, etc
