Acceleration death when cold

Acceleration death when cold
When cold if I step on the gas it drops, and potentially just dies. When it warms up it runs perfectly. Already put in a new coolant sensor and air temp sensor, which desperately needed replacing. TPS? It never blinks the check engine, it just flat dies. It started getting grumpy on cold acceleration awhile back, but now it just drops dead. It idles just fine, but don't hit the gas. Hit the gas and you get dead, dead, dead.

fordbozo,
Perhaps you can tell us which engine and what year? Since you mentioned TPS and "check engine", I'm guessing F.I. and computer. Why not go to an automotive parts house and ask them to read the stored codes? Normally, this is the 1st step and it costs nothing as they hope you will buy your parts there.
