Overhead console ?

Overhead console ?
Has anyone made an overhead console for their pickup? I don't want to hack the dash for a stereo, and I think I'm going to lose part or all of my glove box to my AC/HEAT system, so I was thinking an overhead console would be the answer. Anyone have a source or pix of a custom console you built?

Does anyone have the direct link to the seller of this head liner or at least his phone number?
I looked through the posts and thought I found it but I had to step away to take care of something and couldn't find it again. Hmmmm. If anyone could find that, so I don’t have to jump around from thread to thread.
thanks

OK, I just spent another 30 minutes trying to find said phone #, OR any link to the person who built the headliner. I clicked every link I could find including the personal links people post to look at their stuff.
Could someone please copy and paste the phone # so I can at least call the guy.
Thank you.

OK, i was able to open the 'Facebook' link but the ones that are pictured there are not the same one the is pictured at the top of this thread. I will call them to see if they have made an update to their pattern. The one pictured at the top of this thread, has the Radio pocket built in, AND the rear area also comes down to the rear window - which I like. I'm assuming this is the companies updated version. I will call and check when I get a little time.

I spend a lot of time with my Dad right now and he likes to go to McDonalds for lunch. Last weekend as we were pulling in to the parking lot I noticed this great big 6-door truck pulling in ahead of us. It was so huge he had to park it at an angle across a few parking spots. Black with flames. I should have taken a picture of it. Anyway, as we get inside the guy is in line next to us so I ask him what brand his truck is. He said it was an International. I looked it up and found one that is similar in a white in these pictures. It seems to have an overhead console up front so I'll include pics of the truck here so Eric can get an idea of what his should look like.

They are obviously not cheap to buy and with two 150+ gallon tanks they would not be cheap to fill 'er up, either.

Chad: That's quite the monstrosity Aside from the QUARTER of a MILLION DOLLAR price tag, I can't imagine driving that rig in the city (although, on the upside, I expect when people look in their rear view mirrors, they may GTF out of the way
But to haul a race car, or take the family on holidays pulling a fifth wheel, it would be GREAT,
It's juuuuuust a lil big for commuting is all
and getting back to overhead consoles.....

So you are worried about mileage Chad?? When I was doing time in a marine control manufacturing plant in 2004 gas prices had just jumped to 90 cents per litre. Diesel was about the same. A notice was posted on our bulletin board: "Yacht owner fills up at port for $42,000 dollars with a range of 1000 nautical miles"
