Turbo rebuild Help Can i Use it?

So a picture is worth a thousand words right! So my biggest question is Can it be used or do I need to replace it? I do have a spare from a van turbo so i could potentially use that one. Thoughts?

I think what pirate is trying to say is you can see in the picture where the o ring sits. Oil to the inside, only mounting bolts to the outside. The part that is broke is used for alingement for the two parts mating together. If on a tight budget I think I would try it, it doesn’t take that long to pull the turbo anyways.

If not put an wanted ad in the marketplace. Lots of guys have upgrade turbo so and the stock ones are sitting on the shelf in the garage.

Your broken one will work but if you want to replace it Riffraff sells a new center hub for $128.

Thanks for all the feedback, I ended up using the spare one from a van turbo I had laying around. I did reassemble the van turbo using this centerpiece and it does only look like alignment because the backplate fills in the hole when together. The T4 is an upgrade i have been looking at down the road, this was just to fix a bad o ring on the ped and happen to noticed it.
