My new 2015 6.7!

After searching for the right deal for months, I finally traded in my 2008 6.4 KR for this 2015 Lariat. I picked it up last week. I really wanted a rust free truck, which is a tall task around here. It had some very minor surface rust underneath. I spent hours cleaning, wire wheeling, acid washing, and finally coating with POR-15.

I then added, wheels/tires, step bars, tonneau cover and vent shades. I am super impressed with how this truck runs and drives! Love it so far.

How it was the day I brought it home:

Problem is that now you need to garage it till next May. The idiots in the northeast will have all the New England states plastered with salt till enough spring rains make it fit to drive again.

Great looking truck. I've had great performance out of my 15 with the 6.7. Mines a lariat package with 10,000lb package, overload springs and 3.55 gears. Pulls my 26ft travel trailer with ease!!

Gotta ask what size tires you decided to go with. I've been torturing myself on whether to do a tire/wheel package or just meatier tires and call it good.

Thank you! The tires are 35x12.5x20's. The wheel offset is such so they are flush with the fender. Which is what I wanted. I still have the stock wheels and tires for winter.

20x9 8x170 with a +20 offset. This wheel tire combo will put the tire flush with the fenders.

I still have both of them, I'm a glutton for punishment, lol

There are, however, plenty of times I wish I had a dually or atleast a CCLB truck.

Enjoy the new truck! May it bring you years and plenty of miles of trouble free service!
