I am using the EZLynk/5" MBRP exhaust with the stock tune / no emissions so not much in the way of performance. I haven't really had a chance to do much in the way of driving to calculate the MPG but I imagine it can't be that much better over stock plus it has only been on a few days. Thanks for the tip abut the covers I will look into it. I do have the DPF system from my 08+ so when I get home I'll see if the plugs from that fit the 17+ plugs and if they do I'll just cut them and use them as dummy plugs for the frame rail.

I just filled the connectors with dielectric grease and sealed everything with industrial electrical tape.

There are a two main reason why I chose to remove the DPF system.
1. My dealer said he would work with me for any warranty claims, if any, I should have on my truck as I bought it from them along with three others in the past. And my wife bought a Edge there too.
2. Last winter I had my DEF tank freeze up three times causing a limp mode. It gets to -45c and higher here in the winter and it idles quite a bit which was another reason.
I only have the stock no emission tune as I am 33 and no need to be hot rodding or spitting black smoke out everywhere. On my 08 I literally had ZERO issues besides a replacement alternator and some front end parts and I had that thing for 9 years so I am crossing my fingers this new rig treats me the same. My theory is if I take care of it, it will take care of me!

Did you block off or remove the EGR system or just leave it in-tact. The more I research the DPF and how it functions, the more disgusted I get. There is no possible way that a regen process is good for the longevity of the truck and I'm not convinced it's best for the environment either.
