Rancho Spring Leveling Kit Reviews??

Rancho 2.5 Inch Level-it System - RS66555R9

Anyone running this kit? Curious about how their springs handle/ride. Eyeballing the Carli set up but this looks interesting! Thanks in advance......

I’ve been looking at this kit too but am skeptical since it’s noted to also fit on the previous generation super duty. I haven’t come across any reviews on other sites either.

Yup, I’m subscribed, too. My first reaction is that Rancho’s hardware must be fine because “it always has been good stuff,’ but GenY and younger probably see it as an “old man’s product” the same way they look at BFGoodrich. ...and with the way that GenY (and younger) will pick up $1,000/mo car payments, many of them own new heavy duty pickups, which means many posters here are likely younger than the “Rancho generations.”

How;s that for hijacking a thread?

I 've lost a lot of respect for the RANCHO name/products, heres why, back when a lot of us bought our new trucks (2017) most had the FX4 package and the shock absorbers were labeled "Rancho", graphics, decals, white paint, red dust boots, etc., and they were junk from day one, premature fading along with rusting out, in fact some even said that they are not Roncho's at all, they just look like they are. So if Rancho is allowing this to be true, I won't purchase their products for fear of its integrity/quality. OP, go with Carli, if you want a better ride, thats my vote. But if your just looking to level, then I'll vote Ready-Lift.

I was hoping someone had some feedback on this set up. Rancho was the king back in my day.....them and Skyjacker. Really like the Carli reviews, but throw in a Rough Country adjustable track bar and were looking at $ 725 ish all in minus sway bar drop brackets. Substantial difference from the Carli kit even factoring in the Fox cost. I am not cheap, couple of kids heading off to college soon keeps me counting pennies. I have a hard time with spacers, springs I think are the better option.

Went ahead and ordered this kit. Found a vendor that had it for $447 shipped.

Curious as to why you have a hard time with spacers?

The only downside to spacers is less travel and less options for spring rates, dual rates, etc.

If you arent doing any real offroad, a spacer is a great way to get a couple inches and save some cash for the more important pieces of the puzzle....mainly shocks imo. Also, the Carli springs are $315, you can get your own shocks, brackets, whatever else. They are my favorite springs by a long shot.

Can you do Carli springs with Readylift TB bracket?
Then to Tricon's point, get whatever shocks you want...

I found it pretty cheap also, haven't pulled the trigger yet. Waiting to hear back if the springs were designed for the diesel or gas trucks? Rancho's advertisement says 2" lift inthe description but title says 2-1/2".

yeah, I noticed that too. I’ll be happy with anywhere between 2 and 2.5” and most descriptions list them for srw diesel trucks.

Pretty much any spring lift you find will be specifically tuned for diesels, its just the vast majority of the market. It will give you anywhere from .5-1" more lift and will ride a little stiffer.

Just hang a 700lb gorilla on the front of your truck and you'll be fine

Got exactly 2.5” of lift for .5” of rake. I’m sure the springs will settle a bit over time but overall pretty happy with all of it. Ride quality is definitely improved over stock; speed bumps aren’t as harsh and no noticeable changes to steering feel.

I did add the carli sway bar brackets and purchased the readylift track bar relocation bracket but did not install it. I may end up returning it since I am not noticing the axle shift much plus I’m a bit intimidated by the 400lb+ torque recommendation.
