I finally got Accuweather app. loaded to my Sync 3 and it is not very good no radar etc.
Is there a another weather app that I can load.
Thanks
So far that`s the only one available for SYNC 3.
I`ve never checked to see if the radar feature works on the SYNC 3 system because I just assumed it would because that feature works on my iPhone and iPad.
Thanks for the info.
I also thought it would be similar to my IPhone and IPAD.
It is basically a weather report that very basic information
sync 3 Accuweather is useless unless I’m missing something.
Thanks

Use Sirius Travel Link which you should have in your truck. Go to weather, and choose "map" from the little drop down. It will show a radar map of your area...but it is not active motion and tends to not be updated super often.
The Sirius Travel Link map does have a good radar.. I don't believe it auto-refreshes.. but I believe if does get new date every 10-15 minute. You can also use voice commands to pull it up "Weather Map"

Is that only available on trucks that have Navigation? Or any truck Sync 3 truck with SiriusXM?

is that supposed to be included with Sirius subscription? I have a paid subscription but when I try to use that or any of the apps in travel link this show subscription not active only shows I have active subscription to audio.

So what You are saying is You pay for Sirius, but Your travel link doesn't work? Did the travel link work before You started paying for Your Sirius subscription?
My understanding is the 2 are separate Travel Link/Sirius XM Radio. I just found out Today that Travel Link is free for 5 Years. My trial subscription of Sirius has run out, but My travel link still works. The Wife and I are getting ready for a long trip, I'm thinking of renewing Sirius for the said trip, but don't want to lose the travel link if I renew my subscription.
Nothing in travel link has ever worked in the 1 1/2yrs I've owned the truck. Always kinda attributed it to the fact I'm in canada and assumed it was an unavailable service and never looked into it. Any canadians have theirs working?
