Hi, I have a problem. This week I replaced the steering shaft on my 2008 ford f150 stx, but I forgot to secure the steering wheel and now its crooked. When I drive straight, the steering wheel is not in the center, does somebody sometimes have this problem.
Undo linkage put steering where you want it lock it down rehook link back up . When I had alignment done my steering wheel was little off . But not too far so I have lived with it .

Dorman shaft did the same thing on my truck. You can adjust the tie rod sleeves. Just be sure adjust them the same number of turns on each side. One side will be made longer and the other will be shorter. This won't change the toe adjustment at all. It will just change the steering wheel position. Or you can pay for an alignment.
