I have a 1993 f150 4.9l 5 speed and every time I put it in neutral to stop it dies. No spitting or sputtering just dead. I've replaced the entire fuel system from the tanks to the injectors. New MAP sensor new plugs wires cap and rotor. No idea what to check next.
I finally got most of the codes taken care of. New TPS, fuel pump relay, o2 sensor. Now I only have 2 codes I'm worried about. 556 and 542. Both have to do with the fuel pump circuit. I am curious where to start the search for the bad ground.
They are KOEO codes. After I replaced the parts in my last reply I removed all of the CM codes and now those are the only 2 remaining other than the neutral safety switch and egr that I blocked off.
