Engine dies while parking... Now engine seems to be running better???

Hey guys I was pulling into a parking spot yesterday and my engine just shut off as I was coasting into the parking spot thank God. Couldn't imagine that happening doing 50 or 60 miles per hour on a busy road hauling a 14000 pound trailer. I simply just waited a minute and then started it back up and it's been running fine since. For some reason it actually seems to be running a little better and pulling my trailer stronger. The first thing that came to mind was the CPS, which was the first thing I put in my glove box when I got home that day. Does anyone know what else this could have been or what I should watch out for?

Oil level is full, I think it was around half tank of fuel, only three dtc's but I don't think that they are anything to do with what happened. P0238 high boost sensor, p0475 exhaust pressure control valve, p0603 ICM keep alive memory error. Anyone have a clue why the engine would just die in a Split Second?

The keep alive memory and random dying were the symptoms i had with the fuel bowl heater and bad ICP sensor. Try unplugging the heater and see how it drives

my fuel bowl heater clip is broken so it will slide off from time to time, but never noticed any difference on or off . surely that wouldn't cause the truck to die? does it matter to the pcm whether or not it is plugged in ?

I believe it is on the same fuse as the OBD2 port. I know i can go out now and plug in my heater and it go from smooth running to bucking and surging and dying with the KAM code and trouble connecting using Torque pro. Then unplug my heater and it will go back to smooth running with no codes.

YMMV

that is weird because my tuner wasn't reading any of my pids the other day. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it works fine. I wonder if that has to do with my fuel bowl heater not securely attaching to the fuel bowl?
