Wildstang 01 excursion rockers panel saga rebuild...hopefully
Thanks to NH and Vermont road salt, (and my laziness to do this sooner) the rockers are rusted out. Inners are bad which really compounds the problem.
the running boards were falling off

both rear corner sections for the C post are rotted in the bottom. Of course those aren't available and SD ones don't look like they would match up very good. I would like to just cut the bottom out and weld in a new section if I can find something close to work into it.
Not sure about the inner rockers. Doesn't look like those are made for excursions. I did find what is claimed to be ones for the SD crew cab which would probable get me most of the way to the rear. I need to sand blast to see where decent metal begins to work from. Could do the flat 16 gauge sheet metal but it wouldn't have the holes for the running boards. I could cut them in but that is more time and need to get good measurements for reference, which there isn't much left of the original to measure. I probably should have just done the covers over the original so I could then get it inspected. Kind of into it now though.
