MPG Differences when using different tire size?

F250 6.2L CCSB ... what happens with MPG & towing ability between 18" & 20" BFG KTO2's ?

Whenever you increase the rolling diameter of a tie it will affect both mileage and towing, the bigger the diameter the more power it takes to turn it over so the mileage will go down along with the towing.

Correct to a point...

diameter of inflated tire.. is the issue
a tall profile 18 and a low profile 20 could almost be the same... otherwise as stated above.

Post the entire tire size, for example, 285/75R16

It's not diameter but also the weight of the tire/rim. More weight, more effort to get it rolling.

Yeah honestly with 4.30's if you increased your tire size and didn't increase weight much, you might actually get better highway mpg's. But you will usually lose mpg's when increasing size.
