WTH - Broke down again. Same symptoms
Im beginning to hate my Truck. 2011 F-350 6.7
About 3 weeks ago, I lost power after severe hard shifting. Turbo would be up to 15-20, RPM to 2500 Temps all normal. But couldnt get over 25mph on Freeway. Towards the return home it started shuttering. I got home and it shuttered and quit. Later I started it and it ran fine, but would move much.
Dealer said Transmission detonated and I payed a ton of money and had a reman with a reman torque converter replaced (well the dealer told me that the Torque converter came with the the new trans) and they replaced the flywheel. Plus they said the Knock Valve was gone.
Fast forward to Yesterday. Coming home from wifes family reunion. no hard shifting but going up a hill Near Couer d'Alene Idaho (other side of Washington from home) it starts losing power going up hill again. This time the Cleaning Exhaust filter light kept coming on. In town it was shuddering again. And when I put it in park I tried to rev the engine and it sounded like it was flooding or shuddering. Its hard to describe. So AAA was called to tow it to dealer. After 15min I started motor to see if I could turn it around for the tow truck and it idled fine and move ok. I did not drive it.
So it sits at a Ford dealer in Spokane and Im home in Everett.
WTH is going on. Did the Dealer take me for a ride with a new tranny. Or did they miss something when I took it in.
Im pissed as hell and hate my truck right now.

Only one I found was for older where you hold OD reset, but 2011 Thats done on the center display now.
Bugger.

Not sure what to tell you on the issues, but in regards to reading codes from the dash display - I never knew you could do that. I use a ScanGauge. When I had an exhaust temp sensor leave me stranded in the driveway a few years ago I got the ScanGauge and a spare temp sensor. It is worth the purchase. I replaced the EGR cooler core about a month ago and cleared the codes for it, among other things over time.

I had this happen a few summers ago. Truck broke and spent some time at a local dealer three hours from my home. I thought that I was fortunate to get a loaner car to get me and my family home. Had to make a 6 hour round trip drive the following week. Drove up and back by myself. Just made the best of it but was happy that my family was home safe.

Sorry to hear of your troubles with your truck. I would most certainly be frustrated with the events as well.
I don't post this to stir anything, however I would not jump to the conclusion of an incompetent dealer just yet. If the symptoms are very similar and what you are experiencing is what happened when the temp sensor went it, as much of a coincidence as it may be, could be another temp sensor. There are several. They each will throw their own codes. They should be as listed below, though there may be some variances. Best to look up your model year etc.

It appears that 2011-2012 MY chassis-cab versions had 13 and 14 reversed, though. 2013+ are in the same order for pickup and chassis-cab.
1 is past the turbo 4 is before the tailpipe.

For those with the full message center - hold down the "down arrow" button on the left hand steering control and turn on your truck.
For those without the full message center - hold down the reset button and turn on your truck.
After a few seconds, the truck will enter engineering test mode which is really just a bunch of hidden info screens you can scroll through - there aren't any settings here you can affect.
Some of the data reported:
- gauge sweep test
- led light test
- rom checksum test (useful for tuners)
- rom and epprom levels
- any continous DTC's
- fuel level remaining (gallons and %)
- mileage and DTE
- engine RPM
- vehicle speed
- battery voltage
- coolant temp
- a/d converter values
- lcd screen test

Ok
Im getting power loss up hills. 1st it starts feeling like it pops out of gear then jumps back in. Then suddenly I cant go over about 30mph, I can get to speed on flats for a while but even that gets hard. Then it starts shuddering like its not getting gas. When I stop it starts loping hard .. its hard to describe. Shut it down let it cool and it idles normal. Dont drive it to
see if it goes after that. 1st time it coincided with Transmission detonation. Replaced Transmission, Torque Converter, and fly wheel. 2nd time was 300 miles from home and went to that towns dealer, they said EGT Sensor went bad. 3rd time yesterday and its now a my dealer again.
Temps were all normal, boost was running 8-15psi. RPM normal.
to the point of wanting to point it at a cliff and stick the throttle and pop it in gear.
