Harmonic balancer install
Evening, few months back had to replace water pump and timing cover on my 1992 F250 V8 7.5L 460 ci. Been busy got back to it and realized I did remember which direction to install the balancer. The tomahawk weight is on, but does the harmonic balancer go snout out or in?

Here's a couple diagrams from the service manual.

I think the snout faces out based on the diagrams.But I haven't ever worked on a 7.5L or looked at one at the junkyard so I'm not sure.

it should only go one way as it has a sealing surface for the sealing on the front cover seal.
