What the Headlights?

Anyone else ever have their headlights just randomly start flashing on and off?

Cannot figure out whats causing this unless its the switch on the dash overheating.

Started doing it in a traffic jam last night. Then it stopped, then it did it again, then stopped.

I stopped after i got off the highway and rested a bit cause traffic jams suck. Then it never did it again for the rest of the trip home.

When the light switch failed on my 90, the dash and tail lights would flash on and off. The head lights stayed on. just my experience.

sounds like the electrical plug for the light switch is burned. common problem with the 88 to 91 trucks, so i would imagine it is also a problem with the 92-97 trucks. repair is a new switch and plug.

Yeah, it was just the headlights flickering.

Mine are a bit brighter, nothing HUGE. Was it worth it? Yes, takes the load off the headlight switch. That alone works it to prevent a potential melt down in the cab. Brighter lams are a byproduct. I still have junky headlights, need to swap them and I am sure I will notice more of a difference.
