Changing Console lock?

Changing Console lock?
I found what looks like the lock tumbler for the center console in a bag in the glove box of the 2018 I picked up last week. Which is great because I am swapping out the jump seat for a console. Can some one point me to instructions on how to put the lock tumbler that came with the truck in the console I am installing?
Thanks for the help

For must new ford glove boxes you need to stick the key in and under the keyhole there should be a slot for a flat screwdriver to push they cylinder out. The key releases the pins to a neutral setting and you can slide it out. Check to see if there is a slit for a slotted screwdriver and have a try

I think you are correct based on what the tumbler that was in the glove box looks like. But there is no access that is visible on the out side of the lid. Most likely I would have to take the console lid apart. That plus the fact I don't have a key that would fit the donor console I may be SOL.
Thanks Duck
