I got these seats for a great deal but one of the small issues is the amount of "stuff" in the center console. There's loose change, dirt, probably some popcorn, etc floating around in there and I just want to clean it out. Obviously I don't want to destroy it getting it apart, but I can't find any tabs or latches that will allow me to disassemble it. Have any of you taken one apart before? Can you point me to the magic key which unlocks the treasures that reside within?

You know, I've been offered a King Ranch interior from an F150 (don't recall the year) for nothing... my issue is that the brown leather color just won't look good with my gray/black two-tone interior I'm doing.
I could dye it, but there's no telling how the dye will last, and I've had mixed results dyeing leather.
Though it would certainly allow me to take the center console apart!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you are going to break at least half of the clips that hold it on. 21+ year old plastic is pretty brittle. Especially on something that was never designed to come apart. You will have to glue it back together.
Just go ahead and pry it off. You will see how it was designed to snap together and NOT come apart.
Alos, I hope you have a supercab or bronco or that is Not the correct seat

As soon as I'm permitted to post my pictures you will see that it's pretty simple and nothing broke. Only tools I used flat head screw driver and a drill with a bit sized to drill out four rivets; don't recall the exact size. A quality staple gun will be needed for the reassembly, and a rivet gun as well.
