Seat covers

As everyone knows these bench seats in our trucks take a beating, and after 40+ years can use a much needed rehab. The saddle blanket style seat cover seems to be the most popular remedy to this condition. So I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone in the market for a seat cover give "webschooner" on ebay a try. I have no affiliation other than being a very satisfied customer.

Don't be fooled by the similar looking Chinese seat covers on ebay that are ten bucks cheaper than webschooner (read the reviews) . webschooners seat covers are made in the U.S.A. of a heavy weight material and they fit our 73-79's like a charm!

I'll have to check them out. I like the saddle blanket look and have been wondering which way to go. Still a ways off before I'm sitting on it but thanks for the heads up

Thanks for the tip Flatbed. I just ordered one, and I know where you live. Well...I at least know which forum you're on.

I re-padded and recovered my seat with LMC's kit a few months ago. It's very nice. I've been wanting to get a good seat cover to protect it.

I wouldn't recommend it if I thought it was crap. They are a quality piece. As everyone I try to save a buck, so I looked at the Chinese $30 seat cover but after reading the reviews I shied away....then I found "webschooner" ….$10 more but of a much higher quality.

Nothing fancy, just a quality seat cover. It took me about 2hrs to install, the seller includes a couple dozen nylon ties and I wanted to double knot each one. All in all I am pretty pleased how it turned out, much better than the ripped up and shredded seat underneath it lol. The fit is perfect for our 73-79 seats.

I'd love to have one for the SuperCab (split backrest) but he doesn't list any and you can't contact the seller due to the high volume of messages he gets.

Sigh.
