Picked up this 1988 F350 Super Cab, 7.3 IDI for $850.

Truck has 87k original miles, and runs flawlessly.

You should be more careful what you put online- You know the state- if they came across this- might have an issue with the discrepancy.
I think you should modify your post a little

I think he's safe.. with 200 trillion or so posts online I wouldn't worry about a knock on my door.

$1 purchase price huh? Hell of a deal. In my state they call BS quick and hit you with bluebook value if you claim you paid too little. Other than that minor fib, truck looks great. What's the plan for it?

And that is exactly most people that put private stuff on social media think too, until they get caught in a sting or scam of some sorts.
To each their own...

That was between the 2 previous owners; not my problem.

lowest KY lets you get by with is $100; but the county clerk said that it being a 1988 it doesn't even show up for a "Value" other than what I put down at time of transfer.

The "Project" is just getting it all back together and fixed up? I thought they were all projects but oh well.

Got the truck inspected, title transferred and insured today along with a new license plate. Transmission shifts smoothly, but the throwout bearing is...rough; but it'll have to hold until I get a clutch kit.

Painted my Injector Lines

New Solenoid on the left, burnt out solenoid on the right.

New battery cables are made up, still have to finish the negative cables.

I believe the 87,000 miles just like the $1.00 purchase price

The driver's side seat base looks to be relying on the seat belt to keep everything inside the cab in the event of an accident.
