Best leveling kit for 2015 xlt?

Hey folks - I spend all my time in the f250 forum but I want to get my dad a leveling kit for his 2015 xlt. What do you guys, as the experts, recommend?

Thanks!

They all work about the same, a soacer mou ted on top of the strut. Check out ReadyLift or Autospring. There are others out there. Don’t go over 2.5”. 2-2.25” is probaly best if you don’t change the rear blocks.

appreciate it. I did some looking around today and settled on the bds with a fox upgrade for the rear.

BDS makes good stuff. The preload spacers require the front struts to be disassembled. Not a big deal if a shop is installing it. Upgrading the rear shocks is a good idea. POst some pics when it's done.

Can you expand on the preload spacer? I had never heard of these before. I kinda understand how they work. Are they better or worse?

The preload spaced goes in the strut assembly, on top of the coil spring. You can go about an inch on preload befor it gets to stiff. A preload spacer will limit down travel time n the suspension. The leveling spacer mounts on top of the assembled strut. On a 4x4 you are limited to no more than 2.5” with a leveling spacer due to issues with the axle shaft angles, especially if too much down travel, or droop, occurs.

There is a kit on the market that ReadyLift offers. It’s the 3.5 SST system. It combines a small preload spacer with a leveling spacer for a total of 3.5” of lift. I haven’t seen any reviews on it yet.

Halo/F150 Lifts makes a replacement coil over set up that gets 3” from preload alone, but the shock is designed for it. Most go 2.75” to avoid a rough ride.

Question: What advantage does a leveling kit give to a 4 wheel drive truck?
All my trucks have been 2 wheel drive, so i don't know. I thought all pickup trucks were higher in the rear.
Thanks.,...jack

I'm dealing with this situation myself. I was always under the impression that you didn't want to go too much over 2" due to cv angles, and balljoint angles. The UCA replacements seem to be the way to go if you do want to go higher, but then your cv axles are still going to be a problem. I'm not sold on cutting the truck apart to get the 4", especially when the majority of those are simply a bigger spacer anyway.
