Tonneau covers reduex

Researched available bed covers at the show and saw several examples... from the high dollar ******* to a vinyl covered top with a bolt together frame... but couldn't find the owners to ask.. anyone got any info on this type top ??? see pics
Seem to be made from aluminum extruded pieces with corresponding clamps, corners and such... Aluminum welding was one of my holdups on building but this might be the answer... wonder if they are available or will support an aluminum cover instead of vinyl ???

Looks like a leaker to me, spend your money before it goes bad John, ******** I thought were reasonable in U.S dollars not so much at my end but glad I purchased it..I bet by the time you bought that frame and the aluminum plate and welding it up you'd have just about the same amount into it. All I did was paint it when it arrived..

I priced one, it is in the 400 range.

They told be I could buy it without the vinyl, I thought about welding a sheet of aluminum in place of it (knocks $60 off of the price), and painting it to match.

I looked into one of them but where does the water go when it rains, I drive my truck so do get caught in the rain. The shape of the box makes that cover look like a funnel..*******'s cover is sealed all four sides..

John,
I would be reluctant to have a cover that does not extend over the angled bed sides. If your plan is limiting your truck to primarily show on nice days, disregard my first sentence. I did a soft custom cover. I did not want any new holes in the bed. I used the stake holes with painted to match, short oak stakes, to fasten to. I bought a new but on sale soft cover that was for a larger bed and cut the frme down. I could have used and cut down the black cover but want gray so I purchased the gray material (made by the Hartz corp). I have a friend that does canvas work. I had him sew up the new cover. I originally looked for a used cover to cut up but an on sale new cover on ebay was a better deal.
