Journey to the Future: 2019 Super Duty

Yesterday I placed a deposit on my new truck and it went into the system today. The waiting game begins... I've never ordered a vehicle before and I'm really looking forward to the upgrade. I love my 03' Excursion, but among other things, I'm wanting something a bit more luxurious to daily drive. I was the first person to order a 19' from this particular dealership and I'll have the first 19' on the lot - I'm super excited!

I've been looking through the threads and I've already got tons of ideas to make this truck my own. Nothing of mine ever stays stock for long and this site sure doesn't help with that either!

WeatherTech floor mats
Toughskinz inserts front and back
Illuminated sill plates
Revolver X2 bed cover
Tint to match the rear windows
2WD front valence

I'll update this as things move along- I think the next piece of info I'll get it the VIN. I asked the dealer to notify me the moment it shows up, I want to be there to help remove the sticks and do the intake inspection.

What did you order for a truck? Color? Trim level? 250, 350,450? Gas/Diesel? Srw/Drw?

Nice! Did the dealer give you an estimate on when your 2019 will be arriving?

They did say they make them a bit faster than the other vehicles due to demand. I was told 6-8 weeks, but I'm expecting 10.

Too long, lol

I have a 19 on order as well. I dont believe they even start production until Mid June. I expect my F450 sometime in august or september. 6-8 weeks based on what Ive heard is pretty optimistic.

This is pretty reliable- https://www.donlen.com/buildstart-trucks-ford.html for scheduling and ordering dates.

Congratulations as well - thanks for the info. I just hope to have mine before I'm done doing all of my towing for the year. If I see my Excursion before I get the new truck I'm going to have to tow with my 86' 6.9idi 4 speed truck... haha. Going to be fun going from a 86' to a 19'.

I'm still surprised they charge extra for block heaters and supplemental cab heaters in Minnesota, I do believe cold is normal there.

They don't - I just made sure that it was there.

Congrats, we have identical trucks on order except for color (I ordered black) and no console vault for me.

I placed my order march 23rd, and am guessing delivery late July early august. Scheduling begins in the coming weeks so we might know better by the end of May on timeframe.

welcome to the 2019 club!

ps get your sill plates on order they are backordered everywhere. Ford parts system didn't plan on us doing this mod. Mine took 3 weeks to come in. Get an online Ford parts retailer price printout for what you want and take it to the dealer to price match. I got the sills for 77 each. Front valence had big shipping costs online so again have your dealer price match it and then you pay no shipping.

Good call - I'll get ahold of my dealer, Autonation (formally Tousley) and use my 10% over cost discount. I'll get that process started next week-

2019 club- Wooo!

Those who just ordered one, how's the incentives work? Any? How much? What's your costs compared to invoice?

What about the current PCO ($3k), did you/can you ask your dealer to see if we can use it? (go here to check it out if you didn't get one https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...000-pco-2.html)

I'm looking for 2 trucks but no rush. So if we have at least $1000 or so in rebates, and can apply the PCO, I might as well order 2019 ones instead of go hunting for in-stock trucks.

Thanks.

I detailed out my entire purchase here:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1533166-price-to-order-a-2019-super-duty.html

long story short I paid $135 more than invoive minus holdbacks. Incentives on 2019 are not announced so those are on top based on whatever is available at the time of delivery. I am assuming 500 incentive and 500 if you finance through Ford. 3000pco expires before trucks will so up so it won't count. Good luck!

My dealer just got back to me and said I can use the PCO - he basically said any deals I have now are in effect and if they go away before delivery I get them, but if they get better I get those as well. Not really sure on incentives as they change over time - not really counting on much ordering a 19` ahead of production. I'll play their finance game to same some up front cash and refi once I get the title.

We shall see in the end if it works or not, I hope so, because that is a decent stack of cash to save..... and use for immediate mods
