What additional info can you give about it? Mileage, year, compression tested? Etc... Any info would help. Anywhere from $1k to 4k depending on condition or the level of unknown for a used one, or 5-7k from a company that sells them good to go, rebuilt, tested, etc.

So are you trying to buy one or sell one? I guess that's point us in the right direction for asking clarifying questions.

I am wanting to buy and sorry could of worded differently

I am wanting to buy one if it needs rebuilt that will be ok as I can teach my oldest some stuff bout em. Mileage 250000 max
I kno that they can crack the block an be mis diaged as a head gasket which does worry me. I found one for 500 as I work on these engines an truck 5-6 days a week but the thing is on it is a price and be the guy hydrolocked it he told me there is a lot of coolant in a cylinder. Again scary I was thinking bout a new as I would be spending roughly 5-7 grand on build with out the body as I can find them pretty cheap trans an transfer case I have put up in waterproof case so it is safe from weather an dust I have checked stuff locally and little luck

Prices vary heavily, I purchased a running 2007 F350 Lariat with 310,000 miles for 2500.00 with a bad transfer case. I get used core long blocks for under 1000.00 local.

I bought Ashville Engine longblock. Heads already done, studs etc. Have been very happy with the engine and the people at Ashville were very easy to deal with. Stupid questions and all.

Per their site shipping is $445 round trip to OK, not sure what they'll do if you're planning on not returning a core.

Mike, they are not going to refund Core charge on a cracked block. Don’t waste your time shipping it back. They do check them out pretty well. I had no problem getting my core charge back. It took a little over a week for them to check it out and give my refund. I did have a well scarred cylinder that was in tolerance tho.

I buy trucks cheap from dealer trades and insurance auctions. I get them very cheap especially after ford does trade in bonus events.
