Joe, did you get your tail lights? And what kind?
So I went to Carlisle today. I stopped at the house with the 55 F700 in the front yard. I had his number and had tried calling him the last two weeks. No answer. I thought maybe he died. I knocked on the door. No one answered the door. Thanks to the White Pages and Map Quest I found that his son lived nearby. Went there and spoke to him and his wife. The wife did most of the talking. Father is 90 and living with his daughter. She gave me the number where I can reach him. No answer so I head to Carlisle. As I near Carlisle my phone rings. It's the old man. I tell him that I'm the guy that bought the radio from him 18 years ago. He said I can buy the whole truck, but he won't sell parts. When I bought the radio off him 18 years ago he said he is going to fix it up.
On the way home I stopped at the daughter in laws house to tell her that he called me and wouldn't sell. She appears fed up with the mess. Her house doesn't look much different in terms of old vehicles and junk sitting around. Like father, like son. She said the township wants the old man to clean up his property. She said they'll have a fight on their hands. So I said before they scrap it please call me and I'll buy good parts off it. Some exchanged numbers.
Some pics to follow.

I bought a pair of wipers and blades, drivers door latch, headliner rubber, all from Mid West Early Ford. I bought an NOS condenser and points since guys say the new china crap is .... well, crap. Carpenter was not selling anything, just handing out catalogs. My heel was hurting so I left by 1:15. I did t even go up on the hill or by the turnpike.
