New Toolbox/Fuel tank combo from KSH 2018 Ford F250

Just got my toolbox/fuel tank installed. Wanted to share some pics with everyone. I wanted a toolbox that would take advantage of all the space between the 5th wheel and the cab and fit under a tonneau cover. KSH knew exactly what i wanted and built this beauty. It holds approximately 70 gallons. I have a solenoid connected to an up fitter switch. Installed airbags too. With the tank full and the airbags set at 20 lbs the ride quality is awesome.

Wow that's a beauty! What'd they charge you for that? And why not just a gravity flow?

It was 1100 including the solenoid kit. Shipping was 250. It is gravity feed. The solenoid turns on/off the gravity system. The solenoid only works when there is an electrical current going to it. So when the truck is turned off the solenoid doesn't allow fuel to pass into the main tank even if i leave the upfitter switch on. I'm pulling a 5th wheel so i didn't want to have to stop to manually turn on the gravity system. The digital factory gauge moves as the fuel enters, but the MPG to empty read out doesn't update until after several gallons. I've been testing it around town and its working pretty darn good. Its slow, nothing like an actually pump. I haven't tested the gravity system pulling the 5th wheel but it should keep up just fine.

Looks really nice. Same question though why not gravity flow?

Maybe the picture is deceiving, but with the toolbox on top that tank looks pretty small to hold 70 gallons. I've got a transfer tank and pump in mine, 60 gallons, no tool box, not quite as long but probably a little taller. Nice setup though!
Picture did deceive me! This tank extends back significantly further than mine and I can now see it easily accommodating 70 gallons. Great setup!

I was able to squeeze 70 in. I was a little surprised to.

Maximus, Very NICE!

How does it attach to the bed? Also, would it fit over the wheel wells? My cover only folds up and the last section would be over the lid.

Those welds on the cover leave a bit to be desired....being overly critical, I know...

You can see the bolts from the "feet" going down through the bed floor. A lot of times these bolts have springs on the bottom of them...you tighten the bolt underneath just to where the spring is snug. It allows a little bed flex without flexing the toolbox/tank.

There wasn't a model number. I told him what I wanted and he built it. I think it was based on the 60 gallon model on their website.

The lid is on a hinge to accommodate for the tonneau cover and the tank has cut outs for the wheel wells. This box will only work if your tonneau cover mounts on top of the bed rails. There is no room on the sides.

Before I ordered it, I hooked up the 5th wheel and made a sharp turn to make sure the handle on the hitch wouldn't hit the box. The auto slider head moves back as I turn.

The only downside that I have found to installing a box this size is that you have to install the outlet for the gravity feed system in front of the box. There is no room to work on the side.
