Loving my Race Red F250

Thanks guys, I get lots of compliments on the color, I am not going to get lost in my he crowd. I can’t wait to get my company stickers on there but the decal guy is taking his time.
1st 5th wheel picture is before airbags, I would of needed bags even without the level kit. The trailer needed to be lifted even with it sagging all the way in the back.
Its hard to see in in the second picture since the truck is at an angle. But that’s with about 55psi in the bags it’s pretty level with maybe a little lean to the back. The pin is still forward of the axle. If I moved it the next spot forward I don’t think I could get the tailgate down. I am using a Demco autoslide and I can just go past 90 backing up, it’s tight though. I am leaving the hitch on the trailer, its not too bad dropping it in but I get a helper to line it up. It has the puck system

Nice looking truck! I actually like the old truck, too!
How much pin weight is sitting in your F-250, and what kind of payload do you have? Seems like a lot of trailer for an F-250. The level will certainly exaggerate the rear squat. But it seems you got it taken care of with the rear air bags.

The old truck was great, 2001 with 270k it was down on power some but the worst part was the stopping power. It was fine on the freeway but I completely cooked the brakes on a low speed long curvey, hilly downhill. I was pretty powerless to stop and am just glad I got it pulled over in time. No exhaust brake, maybe I could of put it in low range, but with vacuum hubs that worked and no 2wd low range it was not good.
I am not sure on the pin weight, trailer is a toyhauler 15500 gvw with 4700 lbs of capacity. f250 load capacity is like 2002 lbs, I am sure I am pushing it with myself and a feather in the cab. I probably should of ordered the 350 but I was trying to keep it in budget and I was struggling paying $1200 for a 3 instead of a 2 on the fender badge.

Gary,
Love my Race Red F250 XL regular cab, 900 miles so far, gets complements where ever I go, funny thing when I was looking to buy I could only find white or black trucks in NH I had to go 150 miles to MA. to find a race red version & glad I did... I guess the reason for the white or black popularity in the XL is for fleets or commercial users ?
