240 68cc/300 EFI 69cc Head Needed
Just got some bad news from my machine shop that my 1992 Ford 300 EFI head has two unrepairable cracks in the top of the head. Anyone out there have a bare crack free 240 or 300EFI head for sale. I know shipping will be a little steep but I have to start some ware. I have all new larger Chevy valves, screw in studs, Crane springs & guide plates, only need bare head. Want to stay with a 68-69cc chamber, can not use a 76cc unit. I am in the Southern CA area.

How soon do you need one? I've got a shelf full of 240 heads and may have one EFI head ( I'd have to check on that ) . But none of mine have been checked yet. So I'd have to tear one down and have it hot tanked and checked for cracks. But it won't be cheap to ship one. The last 300 head I shipped was to Michigan and it was $80.00 shipping and that was ten years ago. So I'm sure the shipping would be a whole lot more then that now.

Ted, Thanks for the reply. I am still looking out west to see if I can find one. Just to keep in back of my mind what would you need for a 240 head, hot tanked & mag checked for cracks (just the bare head)? When I get my old head back I will fugure the size of a wood shipping box and weight to ship Fed EX. May not go this way but it would be nice to know. PM me your shipping address again please. Thanks Tom
