Crank no start.

Crank no start.
Hey guys,
About a month ago I went out to start my truck, and it would just crank at first and no start. I cycled the glow plugs 2 more times it started right up let it run for 15 mins jumped in it put it in reverse and it died! Since then it has not started tested FICM at crank and it read 48v so that is good. I replaced the IPC and the IPR still just cranks and no start. Going to hook up to it this weekend with the snap on scanner to see what it is reading internally, but my question is do you think that I may have an air leak in the oil system as I have not updated the stand pipes or dummy plugs yet? EGR isn't deleted yet either it is custom tuned though. any help in a direction to go would be greatly appreciated as I would love to get my diesel back on the road. Its an 04 f250 crew cab. Thanks.

Welcome to FTE Brixey88.
A few things to note: You cycled the glow plugs 2 more times, you also cycled the fuel pump (HFCM) located on the frame rail. 48 Volts is good but not the whole story on a FICM, you have a another half that could fail.
You mentioned tuned, not sure what device you are using, Flash or Inline but returning to stock is best for diagnosing a problem.
Throwing parts at a problem is never a great idea, you are on the right track by scanning the truck. Report back as to what you find.

Thanks, and I will update on Monday night when I run the scan on it. I will be sure to return it back to stock as well. Currently I am running the new bullydog with custom tunes. I was running the SCT livewire until it got stolen and had to have a reflash done. So I went with the new bullydog as it does accept SCT tunes and custom tunes now. The only reason I did the IPC and IPR was because they were pretty simple and cheap to do. I figured it was time as well with 191k on the truck and they were still stock. I will update Monday though thanks for the response!

Hey guys so tonight scanned truck at crank everything met numbers, and still no fire. It did try to fire once but didn't. It sounds like there is a chug to it now though? Ficm synced just fine as well I am at a loss right now on what way to go besides take it to the shop. The only code it pulled was for the pcm? I ready about a possible me fuse or relay but wasn't able to locate it?

It really helps to post the actual values you get, instead of just saying everything is good. Maybe something was missed (we all miss things occasionally).
Also, even it is "just" a PCM code number, it helps to post code numbers too.
Lastly, what are you using to read the codes? Some code readers and MOST cheap scan tools are not good at reading codes (and tuners are especially bad at it).
Specifically post:
FICM MPower, VPower, and LPower
ICP volts, ICP pressure, and IPR % duty cycle
Cranking rpms
V-reference voltage
Fuel tank level
Have you checked to see if the secondary fuel filter fills quickly with fuel w/ the key on (not cranking)? When you do, watch for air bubbles. Can you measure fuel pressure? Also check for bubbles by cranking w/ the secondary fuel bowl 2/3 filled with fuel.
