My 84 F250 had the feedback carb on it. Good chance a F150 will have it too.

I tried looking up carburetors and found them listed with and without on Rockauto and ebay for the 84 F150 so I wasn't sure. I guess in a couple days I'll know when I go pick up the 84 I dealt for. If it's feedback, I want to switch it to pre-feedback system. I have a Duraspark II dist already.

I can tell you my 81 F100 is NOT a feed back system.
One of the reasons why I went for this year truck.........no computers!
You do have to be able to determine what is wrong, I can do that.
But I can fix it with out any special tools.

I don't have mine home yet but stopped and looked at it today and it is feedback. I was in the automotive repair business back in the 80s and 90s and strongly disliked all the hang on smog stuff before efi. Even the late 70s and early 80s had a myriad of troublesome vacuum controls. Detroit was keeping a 20 year old carburetor alive on an iron lung trying to meet the ever tightening Federal standards, Just plain bad engineering IMO.
