symptoms after trans flush

02' here so all I did was pull plug/pan, roughly 7qts. Installed new filter, 6.0 cooler and refilled the 7qts. Started truck and saw drain line filling up. A total of 11qts got pumped out into bucket and 11qts put in. So, I'm "even" with fluid.....well, she shifts good, but at idle it'll lunge, especially in 2,1..almost wants to stall. Put in park, check fluid level(while idling) and for life of me, can't tell what the reading I..im freaking out here, guys!
. Is these/this symptom result of low fluid?

Ok, I added another qt, and it made a whirls of difference. No more lunge at stop sign while in 2 or 1, and doesn't want to stall/drop rpms while on brakes and dropping to 2 or 1...

Low fluid will cause that.

Thanks Mark👊...i read your flush guidelines, and still managed to mess up. Hope the trans is "forgiving".

Being a quart low won't cause permanent damage.

Good to know, chief. Think next time, since I don't have a plug on the T.C., will just fill what's removed, run around the block, dump it and refill again. My driveway and myself, looks like a crime seen..

It seems to be a bit hard to tell. I did mine a little bit ago. If you check it when its off, you can see what the dip stick looks like when its wet. I was driving around a bit over a quart low. I thinks it good now or a bit too high. Now I'm looking for 1/2" hose to install the magnifine filter.

I got mine from NAPA, I can get the numbers off it if you need them.

I’m just getting around to using YouTube for mechanical stuff.. don’t care about subscribers or whatever.. I’m having a hard time figuring it out myself and I’m 25!!
