F-450 In the Sand
Anyone have experience driving an F-450 or anything with 19.5" wheels in sand? Specifically east coast beach sand. More specifically VA, MD, DE, NY beach sand.
Typically one would have a wide tire and air it down to 20-25 PSI for sand driving. Not possible with 19.5" wheels/tires due to the construction.
Any and all hints, tips, advice welcome. Even if the advice is "Don't" ;-)

You might not be able to air down to 17-20 psi but if you don’t or aren’t willing to air down your beach driving experience will end with a shovel and someone pulling you backward. Now if it were like Daytona beach where everyone is driving their Honda Accord on the beach you’d be fine but it’s way softer where you looking at driving. So either air down or don’t try it or atleast bring a good shovel cause your gonna need it. Driving in soft sand with 80 or whatever psi those 19.5’s run at ain’t happing. When your airing down keep your eye on the rear tries don’t want them rubbing each other.
