I had the 20's with the Michelin's, Put a set of BF KO2 on the factory rims, for the winter, I have had several feet of snow here lately, K02 are awesome in the snow.. Gonna buy a set of aftermarket rims and load the Michelin's back on for the summer, two sets of tires should get me through many years. I like the ride quality of the stock Michelin's and figured ya don't get much for a used set of tires these days.

Glad its not just me. These stock A/T's are horrible in the snow. Had KO2's on my '05 F-150 and very rarely needed 4WD and never put any weight in the bed. I've made 3 trips to Lowes for sand bags for the SD. Have almost 500 lbs of weight in the bed and it helped, but still not great. I hate to drop the $$ on new tires for brand new truck. My whole justification for a new truck was not having to put money into a vehicle. I've got almost 10K on the OEM tires, so not sure what I could get out them, but starting to really want to see them go away.

I've bought a lot of take off's from my dealer over the years.
20" Tires & wheels go for $1000
18" Tires & wheels go for $800
I told the dealer I didn't want the wheels, just the tires. He said Same Price with or with out wheels. So I put the tires on my truck and sold the 20" wheels online for $400

I agree that these Michelins are lousy in the snow. However, they perform very well when keeping it between the lines on the interstate at 90. For those of you who have switched to the KO2's, how is the road noise and ride compared to the stock Michelins? I'm considering the KO2's in a 285/65 R20.

I have always loved my BFG KO's. BUT....while I will admit these Michelins leave something to be desired in the snow, they perform great everywhere else. I have grown to like the smooth and quiet ride. I figure (at least for now) that if I need more snow traction I will just turn the **** and go 4x4. 4x4 has performed fine so far this Michigan winter. Who knows what I will do when the time comes to replace. Hopefully that will be a few years down the road. I'm sure there is a great market for your used ones on here. They are expensive tires new!
