How do I get paint/primer in these damn bed rolls?

The guy painting mine used a cheap garden sprayer to get etching primer up into the rolls and the corner posts.
He had the bed upside down and tilted so the excess could run out the ends of the rolls without running all over the sides. When that was dry he flipped it right side up to spray into the corners.
He said he had to work fast and the sprayer was toast. It couldn't hold up to the solvents in the paint.

Eastwood has an internal frame coating that comes in an aerosol can with a tube and a nozzle on it. It comes in black and green.

Thing I don't know is can it be top coated with auto paint?
He took the hook back and I moved so I don't know if you can top coat it.
I have used Eastwood's rust encapsulation using a brush and you can top coat that with auto paint as I have on my 1 year only hood but I took the frame & skin apart to use the Eastwood product then put the 2 back together and painted it.

I have used this on a buddies 1 year only hood between the frame & skin to keep it from rusting.

One thing to remember is that the roll does not form a complete tube, there is a gap where the roll meets the bedside. Most times people don't pay attention to the underside of the roll so they don't know about this gap. I have turned the bed upside down and poured rust encapsulating paint down through this slot and into the roll. If the ends of the roll are still open then it is best to tape them shut before you start so that the paint does not run out the ends. Once a good amount of paint is inside the roll then the bed can be tilted to move the paint around so that it covers the whole interior of the roll. Turning the bed back right side up will let the excess paint drip out of the slot.
