F350: 11.3, 11.4 11.5K payload oackages

Looking at ordering a F350, CCSB w/ 6.2

In digging out info online, seems like the truck either come in one of the payload packages for 11.3, 11.4 or 11.5K.

What's the difference or reason. When the dealer built the truck I'm interested in, the summary shows 11.3K. Is is possible to get a 6.2 CCSB with 11.5K GVWR?

Others may chime in but it may just be for licensing purposes.

when I was at the dealer ordering, he asked me if I wanted the 11500 option (it is no charge). I believe it depends on the option weight of the truck. The dealer computer that is directly plugged into the Ford system, will allow or not allow the different payload options depending on the options ordered.

He was asking if he could get the higher payload when ordering and why it shows as 11300. He did not ask about the 10000 downgrade. ..only why 11300 11400 and 11500 packages when ordering.

A F350 CCSB 4x4 w/ 6.2 will be available in these GVWRs:

17" Tires - 10.7k
18" AS Tires - 10.9k
18" or 20" AT Tires - 11.3k

The 11.4k and 11.5k are 6.7 with 18" AS/AT or 20" Tires

Thanks h2oCamper. This is the info I was looking for.

Where can you find this at, I'd like to understand the different combinations that lead to different GVWR's.

Is this the same for the CCLB also or can they be had at 11.5K with the 6.2?

18" AS - 11.3k
18" AT or 20" - 11.5k

Can be found here starting at page 33.
