Question, do you currently have remote start installed on your truck?

Yes as I did install the oem plug and play remote start and then I had to enable it thru the BCM module using Forscan

You cna download a copy of owner's manuals here...

https://owner.ford.com/tools/account...rd&model=F-150

See page 36 of your owner's manual for settings. It continues on page 37 on how to change the setting.

Also you might ask the questions for your truck over in the F-150 forums.

Yes I saw that in my manual but I don't have remote start listed in the message center as I would like it to be there that's why I am thinking it has to be something with the IPC module

I changed the following and it ending up working for me
Remote Start: In the BCM module 726-19-01 change 0047 ( disable) to 0148 (enable)
Remote start in cluster: In the IPC module 720-01-02, change 4C0A (disable) to 4F2A (enable)

Ya got it it working, good work! Some minor tweaks and your up and running, always nice if the info would be a little clearer, but sometimes I think the folks that write this stuff up, dont realize most owners are trying to do some of the features and not a tech at a dealer, as it is almost written to a tech's perspective.

You probably should be asking your questions in the F150 forum....not here...there are probably differences in the IPC, BCM and other modules.

Since you are "playing" with values and FORScan....make this change and see if it increases your run time to 15 minutes

726-49-02-*3*3

BUT FOR SURE GO CHECK THE VARIOUS F150 forums on the internet about changes with FORScan.
