Aaron Kaufman from F&L focusing on F-100s for new show
Aaron from Fast & Loud is doing another TV show, Shifting Gears. But it will be nothing like F&L. It will all be based around his new shop, Arclight Fabrication, which specializes in old Fords, which should make for some cool builds. I was actually on a rally with him years ago, and he's a super cool dude. So I'll be tuning in. How about you? More info on the HP.

Well, shoot... what can ya say. I admire his skills but I thought most of the builds on F and L went over-the-top for no other reason than it was for TV (shocking, huh).
I'd rather he concentrate on making cool F-truck parts without the distraction and faked drama of a TV show (THREE spinoffs from the Gas Monkey show!! "Cheers" spawned ONE. "Friends" couldn't even pull that off successfully. Neither could M*A*S*H ) but he's hot right now so I'm sure it's hard to turn down network money.
Make us some cool stuff, AK... leave the BS at the gate.
Thanks.
ETA: It's Saturday and I'm in a hotel... this is where I first started watching Richard Rawling's goofy show Fast and Loud... never watched it before 2.5 yrs ago when I started staying here. Coincidentally, it's the first show without A Kaufmann and Rawlings has mentioned that fact a half dozen times already and the show isn't even half over. I think Rawlings misses his buddy. Just sayin'...

The one 'Cheers' spawned was 'Frasier', arguably one of the most successful sitcoms of all time. And 'MASH' gave us 'Trapper John MD', another highly successful show. I suspect either of those spinoffs individually had more regular viewers than all the F&L shows combined. Now if you want to look at successful shows for spinoffs... 'Love Boat' spun off 'Happy Days' spun off 'Laverne&Shirley', 'Mork and Mindy', 'Joanie and Chachi'. And then there was "All in the Family'...

Rawlins has always grated on my nerves. Aaron was much better.
Side note, my cousin was working for the company in charge of the move from their first shop to the new one. I told her she have lost the shipment that included Rawlins since she was essentially the one directing it.
