1989 Ford F-250 loss of power
I recently ran into the issue of my truck losing power when it’s hot, when cold it runs fine but when the truck gets hot, it loses all power and my exhaust is no longer heard, I recently replaced my IAC but the problem still occurs, but now every time I start the truck when it’s hot, it wants to die out. Also whenever I press the accelerator, the truck hesitates then it goes. Has anyone ran into a similar problem, or know what can be causing these problems?

The first two things to do are get your codes and check your fuel pressure.
I would be especially interested in your fuel pressure when your truck loses power.
Does your truck have a catalytic converter?
How long since tune-up stuff?

I have a catalytic convertor, and my fuel pressure reads at 39 psi, and the last time I tuned it up was less than a month ago

Pull the codes.
Did you pull the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator to see if the fuel pressure changes? Once again, any way you can get the fuel pressure when the truck is running right and also when it loses power?
Read some about testing catalytic converter. Vacuum test, temperature test and sound test.
