blowen turbo pipe

2006 F350 6.0 4X4 Lariat Super crew 168000.
pulling our 30ft 5th wheel Laredo at times I still blow turbo connector hose's off and I try to stay 20psi or lower
any ideas? found a dual clamp at Spectre Performance

brake clean the tube , dry it use hairspray and re-clamp , people say it works

Also are you using stock boots? They have a ring that needs to be set in
the grove on each end of the CAC pipes. There are a few other tricks.

Mich6.0 are you saying use a brake cleaner on the boots to clean them. I have this same issue and end up replacing the boots every 3 year or so. Thanks

Buy Riff Raff boots, clean and use hairspray.....they will NEVER blow off unless you're running 50psi boost and even then I doubt it.


The stock boots are Chit

Brake or carb cleaner on the boots to remove all of the oil
residue before the hairspray. Also clean the pipe ends too.


EDIT : Was just thinking. Rubbing alcohol will also work. What you are trying
to do with it is get a clean dry set of surfaces to put the hairspray on
and then stuck together. One trick is while the hairspray is still wel
the parts will slide together. If you want till it's dry things will be sticky.
