Red face and now it begins....

imagine if you will, a young man with a love for Ford Trucks in the summer of 1982. My first purchase of a new truck. She was a raven black, swb, F100 with red interior, 302 2 bbl and C6 auto, beauty. Over the years, i played with her, teased her and she me. at 150,000, she was smoking some and I couldn't stand it. Well, to be honest, she had been rode hard and put up wet at Columbus County (NC) Dragstrip and Darlington International Dragstrip(SC) a few times along with the occasional back roads racing. After all, she had duals within 4 months after i bought her, within 6 months, an aluminum intake and Carter AFB with headers. Well, it was time for a change and i replaced the smoker with a manufactured mustang gt short block, shaved the truck heads and off to play again. after about 100,000, i broke the snout of the crank and heck, said lets go full boogey.

GT40 crate motor, added 3.50:1 gears, holley tbi, crane/ford 1.7:1 roller rockers, freshened the C6 and she was back but then life set in. Wife, babies, BILLS....finally in 2010, she needed some work and i parked her to drive my new 06 F150 SCrew. Then, i let her get away (stupid) after 28 years. Brother in law made a deal that he would take her and give her some TLC and if / when he decided he didn't want her anymore, he would give me first shot...Yeah, Right???? Sold her to a guy that just let her go down and then i found out who it was.... got in touch and after 3 months of aggravating this guy, my baby is home with me. she's 35 now and i need some help. anyone who has access to or knows where i can find parts for restoring her, please contact me. medictwofiveeightsixatyahoodotcom

What is it you are looking for?
Other than I think door panels nothing else is made so you have to find good used parts.

is yours an xlt?
I ask because both my 81's (Ranger & custom) don't have the part around the rear window.

The kicks would be good used ones. Do know there are 2 types. Vented and not vented based on if truck had factory ac (nonvented) or not.
Both will work in either truck. I am using vented panels in my ac truck for day I don't want to use the ac.

mine is actually an xl. has the a/c though i don't use it. if i had the covers that go over the seatbelt rollers, i wouldn't care about the plastic trim panel so much but they were integrated into the piece that goes around the back glass and down the sides of the b-pillar at the back of the seat

There was a post not long ago on the belt covers like you need. My trucks have ones the cover just the roller part. Again good used ones for any of the inside plastic parts.

On the kick panels they do inter change so you could use the vented type and just remove the metal plate that the AC trucks use to block it off.
