Keep it stock, add a tripple disc torque converter and upgraded valve body and a 6.0 transmission cooler, add bellow up pipes. And do regular maintenance and your set.

Put gauges on it and keep it serviced. Take a look at what Adam said about the trans. Then drive and enjoy
